Atrium Gallery Of Dania A New Venue for Arts & Culture

Dania Beach is proud to announce the opening of the new Atrium Gallery located at City Hall. A beautiful space with many possibilities, it will serve as an Arts and Cultural Center featuring exhibition’s, concert’s and so much more.

The very first show featured the Signal Box 7, which showcased all the artwork around Dania Beach on selected signal boxes. The current show is a group initiative ”Images From Nature.”

The next event will feature nationally acclaimed artist Jacklyn Laflamme with a one-woman show. Her vibrant, acrylic paintings will be on exhibit from Friday, September 25, 2014 until the end of October.

“I am very excited to share my colorful art work, we really want the local community to be a part of the experience”

A community night and opening reception is planned for Tuesday, October 7, 2014 from 6:00pm – 8:00pm, at City Hall, light refreshments will be served and it is free and open to the public.

Henriette “Kittie” Arnold has been instrumental in getting the gallery up and running, she will be curating all future exhibitions. Featured artists will be invited to exhibit at the gallery. “The goals for the gallery are to have rotating exhibitions on a monthly basis. A gathering place for people to connect, network and bridge together to find creative ways to support one another, local businesses and the community.” stated Henriette Arnold. RedEYE is the hottest art and entertainment event of the summer. An underground art tour de force, RedEYE this year is “ReBOOTED” to feature street art, comic art, body art, urban inspired and cutting edge art and social commentary. Visual art and performance pieces are complemented by live bands, digital art displays, interactive installations, fashion, food trucks, indie film shorts and wild fun.

It’s the hottest art event of the summer. Don’t be left in the cold.

Heightened Senses

Six artists explore individual themes, reflections, juxtaposition, perspective and more in glassworks, photography, ceramics and paintings. A multiple sensory audience participation. Patrons will be engaged at our opening to enjoy the art in a new way, invited to taste, smell, touch, hear and visually experience this one of kind show.
