I support Local Art!

A celebration of Local Artists, that will explore and share the diverse talents of our local creative community.
So many wonderful people stepped up and had their photos taken and are now a part of the project.

Dani Lynn (author of The Fairy Tale Project children’s book series) and I, along with Ladle the Leap Frog, had so much fun at Young At Art Museum this week. Our workshop was perfect, we did a story time reading from the Fairy Tale Project’s books and the children were inspired to make books of their own.
The children each took a turn at reading in front of the group and presented their stories and illustrations. A great time was had by all!
The Power of literacy allows one to explore new horizons…
In this particular case it has always been our goal to promote literacy. We hope the stories from The Fairy Tale Project will inspire children to read and that the illustrations will spark their imaginations.
Thank you to the staff and volunteers At Young At Art Museum. You were a tremendous help and we appreciate the time and attention you gave to us. A special thank you goes to Laurel and Amanda for their excellent work assisting Ladle The Leap frog!
I am so excited to introduce our new mascot Ladle the Leapfrog, the new face of The Fairy Tale Project.
Yesterday he made his debut at Young At Art Museum, during a story time reading and bookmaking workshop. He was well received, and we all had a great time!
The power to reconnect with our inner child…
Being in touch with our inner child gets the creative juices flowing and expands the imagination. So get out, hug a frog, laugh and be joyful. In this particular case I know that being silly will keep me Young At HeART!
Thank you to Amber for bringing Ladle The Leap Frog to life!
